Starting this blog with an introduction to how the pandemic completely restructured our life is probably the best way to explain how it did so. A state of emergency was declared around the globe. For months, human beings were kept apart from each other. The rest of society has been brought to a standstill. However, this may not remain the case for an indefinite time. Regardless of the circumstances, we were ordered to move, necessitating a transition to the new normal. Because of this, the only way any of us could converse without spreading the virus to the other was to become dependent on technology. Like many other systems, education went fully online before morphing into a hybrid learning model. Here, I will discuss some of my own experiences and opinions about the transition from traditional classrooms to virtual learning, as well as my sentiments and thoughts about it.
To be honest, I think the online format worked great for me, but I'll go over the benefits and drawbacks for you. This is a huge benefit for someone like myself who enjoys traveling. As a result, I've been able to travel the world while still receiving a high-quality education.

Because our classes are online, I don't have to get up so early in the morning to get dressed and travel to my university. At our leisure, we can examine and replay any of the online instructions and rubrics, readings, and lectures. As a result of being able to pick our own schedules, the benefits of online learning are reinforced. We still have to take synchronous quizzes and exams, but our timetables are entirely in our hands. My motivation to study has increased as a result, leading to higher results in class. When it comes to studying, I've had to develop a new sense of self-reliance and accountability. Furthermore, the act of learning itself, which entailed thoroughly absorbing the knowledge I was exposed to through both reading and hearing, became a vital ingredient of my education.
Moving forward, I can think of numerous disadvantages, and these aren't restricted to me. As a student, having too much freedom may be a problem for me because I get off track if I don't plan ahead for study sessions or synchronous tests. Other children and families in the country lack the financial resources to use this internet platform in the same way that those who are privileged can. Their education will suffer if they do not have access to similar equipment and internet connections, which means they will not learn anything new and will fall behind in their academic development. Not every child has the same learning style as their classmates. A visual learner, an aural learner, and a kinesthetic learner could all be present. The online setup cannot accommodate all of them at the same time, putting others at a disadvantage. I know there are brilliant minds in this country who are eager to hone their intelligence and talents but do not have the opportunities to do so which is a great loss for the country.
The government must, therefore, take action immediately. Despite the fact that other eyes and ears have turned blind and deaf to this, there is an educational crisis in the country. An expert in the field of education should lead the charge in instilling a sense of urgency in this matter. The Department of Education needs a substantial amount of funding to adequately address the issues, which must be appropriately prioritized. Some students are doing better, but it's not enough to leave the rest of the students to fend for themselves in a system that is already biased against them. Education is essential for all and should be made available to all of us.
